My Favorite Luxurious Face Mask

I have always had a love for makeup, beauty, and all things glam, but I have recently fallen in love with skincare. Taking care of your skin is essential and the first step in flawless makeup application. Not only that, but developing a good skincare regime can reverse signs of aging and give you a luminous glow!

Now that we are all home we have a ton of extra free time, this the perfect time to indulge in some luxurious skincare.

In comparison to other peel-off masks I have used in the past, The Golden Radiance Peel-Off Mask is gentle and non-abrasive. It will not hurt or overly tug at your skin upon removal, so it is safe to use twice weekly, or as often as desired. For best results, I recommend applying the mask after you have thoroughly cleansed your skin.

You can apply the mask directly to your face with your finger, or with a silicone mask applicator (provided if you purchase the collection. The collection also comes with a terry cloth headband to keep your hair out of the way). I personally prefer to use the silicone applicator as it keeps my hands mess free and offers an even application. You want to apply a medium to thick, even layer, all over your face avoiding your eyes, nostrils, and hairline.

After application, allow for the mask to dry completely, about twenty minutes. I like to use this time to relax. Here I got comfortable and pulled out my Kindle Fire to read some of Becoming by Michelle Obama.

Once your mask is dry, it is time for the fun part-peel! When peeling off your mask, you want to make sure you do so slowly and in an upwards motion, starting from the bottom of your face near your chin/jawline. This will ensure that you are removing any impurities away and out of the skin. Additionally, it is always best practice to always lift up with anything you to do your skin to prevent fine lines and wrinkles from developing, and sagging. Once removed, your skin should feel tight, lifted, smooth, calm, and fresh! Be sure to look in the mirror to see the luminous glow that is left behind!

If there are small areas of the mask left behind, wipe away gently with a warm wash cloth.
